2023 WILDFIRES GOVERNMENT OF THE NORTHWEST TERRITORIES
In August 2023 we deployed multiple crews to NWT in response to the ongoing wildfires. In collaboration with the GNWT and multiple emergency agencies we set up checkpoints in regards to the Yellowknife and the Hay River areas.
We manned these checkpoints twenty four hours a day through scheduling and our supplied man power, monitoring the the contractors, first responders and government personnel entering the restricted zone.

Golden League Ventures provided all traffic related services and rentals for this project which was featured on the Alberta Major Infrastructure Project list.
The Whitemud Drive sees a peak volume of traffic exceeding 100,000 vehicles per day, this project was considered to be in a high speed/high volume traffic corridor.
From the Traffic Accommodation Strategy to the monitoring of the work zone and equipment rentals GLV delivered on all promises made to the customer and retained a satisfactory grade throughout the two year period of the project.

From the Traffic Accommodation Strategy (TAS) to the installation of the temporary lane closures, two way traffic requirements on 153 Ave and removal. We finished this project which had a duration of 7 months in a successful manner, the customers involved wrapped up the project with high level of satisfaction and appreciation.
